The campsites in Sant Pere Pescador have been part of this landscape since before the natural park was declared. For decades, they have coexisted with the beach, its dunes, its changing dynamics and its biodiversity. From this experience, Camping Ecosystem Lab was born, a project driven by the five campsites in the association to better understand how this environment works and to improve the relationship between tourist activity, public use and conservation. Its objective is to transform the knowledge acquired into concrete actions that favour a more balanced coexistence with the coastal ecosystem.
