Camping Ecosystem Lab has installed three models of information posters to raise awareness of some of the measures aimed at protecting the Kentish plover and its habitat.

The panels explain how the semi-permeable barrier works, the enclosure used to protect nests and chicks, the risk of separating chicks from their parents in very hot sand areas, and the problems that off-lead dogs can cause in areas demarcated by posts and rope.

The signs have been placed on unpeeled chestnut stakes and all incorporate QR codes that allow access to the Camping Ecosystem Lab website and that of the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà Natural Park.
